Street photographer Sanford “Sandy” Kreger (1934-2018), who co-owed Untitled , an art print shop in NYC, and founded Editions East in Hinsdale, Mass., produced this composite triple portrait of John Lennon using images from a series of photographs he took of the former Beatle in February 1977 while Lennon, Yoko Ono and Sean Ono Lennon vacationed in Stockbridge, Massachusetts . On their trip the Ono-Lennons stopped at a vintage clothing store and donned various costumes while posing for Kreger. This poster has been SIGNED by Sandy Kreger. There are two copies of this signed black and white poster measuring 16 in. x 20 in. They are in fair condition with a good amount of spotting/foxing. Some of the spotting can be professionally cleaned. These posters were never hung or mounted. They will be rolled and shipped in tube. Below are specifics about each of the two copies. Check the photos for visual details before selecting a copy. Choose from: Poster A: Edge wear, slight edge crimp, some general wrinkling, a wrinkled upper left corner plus the paper is worn on the backside of the same wrinkled corner. Poster B: Obvious folds and creases in the lower portion, a small paper nick, tiny pin hole (odd there is only one).
